“We care-when you are unaware”
Anaesthesia and Critical Care Services
Anaesthesia is an essential pre-requisite for almost all surgical and medical procedures. Anaesthesia is administered by highly trained medical specialists whose primary concern is the safety of the patient during the stress and strain of invasive and traumatic surgical and other procedures, however, there is an understandable fear of anaesthesia. Over the last few decades the risks of anaesthesia have been markedly reduced by increased and improved understanding, teaching, training and research.
Along with the development of medical sciences, the department has set up its own high standards in patient care, education and research. All clinical departments are anchored to this specialty. The department follows an integrated approach and standard protocols for patient care, education and research. All operation theatres are equipped with state of the art anaesthesia machines, facilities for invasive blood pressure and CVP monitoring, coagulation monitoring and rapid fluid infuser for major surgery and ultrasonography for regional anesthesia blocks and for vascular access.
Our primary goal is to provide the highest degree of care with primary emphasis on the patient’s safety and satisfaction. Our anaesthetic techniques cover the entire range of procedures to improve outcomes. Our timely and efficient care is engineered in ways to focus on the individual needs of the patient.
