Cardiology Services & Heart Care

Primary Angioplasty

During heart attack, rest angina, patient needs urgent care to establish flow in his obstructed artery. This can be achieved better by immediately opening the artery by balloon angioplasty and followed by coronary stenting. Ojas Hospital follows the international standards to expedite the primary angioplasty so that the door to balloon time is 60 minutes. Cardiac services are available round the clock supported by the experienced critical care team.

Elective Coronary Angioplasty

In Ojas hospital, we have heart team approach in a triple vessel block. The case is discussed with the heart surgeon and cardiologist. Whatever is the best for the patient is done. Ultimate goal is that patient gets the best treatment whether by stenting or bypass surgery.

Complex Angioplasty

If there is a complex angioplasty procedure like complex anatomy, calcified arteries or multiple blocks then we have the best cardiac cath lab in the region with inbuilt IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound ) to see the inside of arteries and to optimize the results of coronary angioplasty.

FFR TEST

This test is available for those patients who are having borderline block and cause is not clear whether they need stent or bypass surgery. This test is available in our lab at a nominal cost. This decides whether the patient needs angioplasty or he can be treated safely with medicines. This test is done like coronary angiography only.

Peripheral Angioplasty

We have a dedicated peripheral vessel program to take care of patients who suffer from pain in the legs on walking or non-healing ulcers in the feet. Endovascular treatment for the legs gives a very long-term relief to these patients.

Carotid Angioplasty

The patients who suffer from recurrent weakness of one limb or of hand which can be because of blockage in carotid arteries. These blockages can be successfully treated by angioplasty and stenting of carotid arteries.

Renal Angioplasty

In few patients with uncontrolled BP, deteriorating kidney function, if they have critical renal artery blockage, it can be treated by renal angioplasty and stenting.

Heart Failure Management

There are many patients who are suffering from heart failure, that means they have less pumping capacity of their heart. They will have breathlessness, swelling on the feet. We run a heart failure clinic in our hospital to cater to their problem. We educate them about the disease and also if needed we implant all types of pacemakers such as CRT-P or CRT-D, AICD.

Pacemaker Implantation

In Ojas hospital, permanent pacemaker is implanted routinely to help the patients with sick sinus syndrome, complete heart block. Syncope management is properly evaluated. We also implant internal loops recorder to find out rare causes of syncope. We run a pacemaker clinic on every Wednesday to take care of followup of these patients, to tackle the trouble shooting of the pacemaker if any.

Lipid Clinic, Hypertension Clinic

These clinics are run for the detailed evaluation whether to start drugs for these lifestyle diseases.
