The department of urology at Ojas hospital offers advanced urological care at par with international standard.

The centre is committed to provide full spectrum of diagnostic services and treatment of stone diseases, urology cancers, laparoscopic urology, re-constructive urology surgery, female urology diseases, erectile dysfunction infertility etc.

The department has excellent results in vascular assess surgeries (AV fistula) for hemodialysis.

Urology Services Offered include

Emergency: Urinary retention, obstructive uropathy with ARF, renal trauma, testicular torsion, priapism, penile fracture UTI with sepsis, hematuria , bleeding from urethra.
Geriatric: Enlarged prostate (BPH), cancers of prostate & bladder, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, hematuria
Investigative: Cystoscopy, uroflowmetry RGU & MCU, RGP, prostrate biopsy, CT scan, urodynamics, voiding diary , TRUS, testicular biopsy for infertility.

Therapeutic

Adult: Renal stone disease, urinary bladder stone disease, urethral strictures, kidney cancer, pelvi-uretuic junction obstruction, ureteric stricture, testicular & penile cancer, hematuria, UTI, AV fistula for hemodialysis, CAPD catheter insertion.
Female: Overactive bladder, incontinence of urine, urosepsis, cystocele.
Paediatrics: Circumcision, posteriorurethral valves (PUV), hypospadius, other congenital urinary tract deformities.

The Department of Nephrology not only supports the team of other specialities but also has comprehensive facilities for management of renal diseases patients.

Comprehensive care is provided for patients of Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension with kidney involvement and other general Nephrology and Kidney transplant patients. Nephrology Unit is ready to start Kidney Transplantation program in near future.
